Job Description

Job Title: Senior Agent – MEP Location: Heathrow Airport – T2 Baggage Programme  Contract Length: Until April 2026 Hours: 47.5 hours per week IR35 Status: Inside or Outside IR35 (TBC) Framework: MPP Heathrow Project Overview: This role forms part of the Major Programme Partner (MPP) framework at Heathrow, supporting the £700m+ Terminal 2 Baggage Programme. The work ensures continued baggage operations in Terminal 1 until the new Terminal 2A system is designed, installed, tested, and brought online. Project completion is scheduled for 2028. Role Purpose: The Senior Agent – MEP will be responsible for overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) works within Tranche 4. The role involves coordinating construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and working closely with supply chain partners and Heathrow Airport Limited (HAL) to ensure successful delivery and integration of the systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead MEP works across Tranche 4 to meet programme and quality expectations Coordinate with internal teams, HAL, and Tier 1 suppliers for seamless delivery Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and commissioning standards Support programme planning, reporting, procurement, and mobilisation Oversee temporary site services and interface management with stakeholders Maintain visibility and provide clear direction to delivery teams Promote Heathrow's values and behaviours across the worksite Essential Requirements: Proven experience managing MEP systems across delivery, testing, and handover Professional qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field) Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Desirable: Experience on major aviation or rail infrastructure projects Understanding of NEC contracts and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) models Strong knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. BS 7671, Building Regulations) Experience in a self-assurance contract environment If you do have the required skill set and meet the above requirements apply today!
