Senior Analytical Scientist - Vaccines
South Oxford | Full-time - Weekdays
Our client is seeking an experienced Analytical Scientist to lead innovative solutions to complex analytical challenges in the development of solid dose vaccines. You'll ensure high-quality, timely analysis while collaborating closely with a dynamic analytical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead method development and validation (e.g. ELISA, HPLC) for novel vaccine formulations
Troubleshoot analytical issues and optimise methods
Design and execute spiking, degradation, and validation studies
Act as Analytical Lead on cross-functional projects
Mentor junior scientists and review data for quality and compliance
Present findings and contribute to technical reports and regulatory submissionsAbout You:
PhD or 3-5+ years' experience in analytical science (biologics or vaccines preferred)
Proven expertise in biomolecule analysis and method validation
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience mentoring or managing scientific staff
Highly organised and collaborativeBenefits:
