ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a Senior Analytical Development Scientist to join a leading CDMO company based in Northern Ireland. As the Senior Analytical Development Scientist, you will be responsible for performing development and phase-appropriate validation of analytical methods in support of API manufacturing projects for small molecules and/or peptides.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Analytical Development Scientist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Develop and validate analytical methods using techniques such as HPLC, UHPLC, GC, KF, and IC.
2. Conduct forced degradation studies and reference standard characterisation.
3. Provide technical management of assigned complex projects and plan project work for yourself and other team members.
4. Participate in customer visits and audits, providing presentations when necessary.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Analytical Development Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in an Analytical/Chemistry-related discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in a GMP/GLP environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with multiple laboratory techniques and method development/validation.
