Senior Architect
Location: St Albans
Salary: £42,000 - £48,000
A design-led, highly regarded architecture studio in St Albans is seeking a Senior Architect to join its growing team. Known for its collaborative culture, long-term client relationships, and commitment to quality, the practice combines thoughtful design with technical excellence. The company specialises in high-quality residential and mixed-use developments and the studio works across all RIBA stages and provides an engaging, supportive environment for architects looking to take on more responsibility.
Role
Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of residential and mixed-use projects from concept to completion
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design integrity and technical precision
Mentor junior team members and share knowledge within the practice
Collaborate with directors on project strategy, detailing, and execution
Requirements
ARB-registered Architect with significant UK practice experience
Strong design and technical skills across all RIBA work stages
Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign
Background in residential or mixed-use schemes preferred
Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills
Proactive team player with a solutions-driven mindset
