Architectural Technician (Contract - 3 Months)Location: BirminghamSector: Residential / aviation
Rate: £28 per hour +
About the RoleThis practice is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join their team on a 3-month contract basis. This role is ideal for a technician with strong residential sector experience who can contribute immediately to ongoing projects.You will be working closely with architects and project leads to deliver high-quality technical drawings and construction packages. The role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced design environment.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for residential projects
Prepare and coordinate construction packages in line with UK Building Regulations
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design intent is maintained
Assist in resolving technical issues on-site and during project delivery
Ensure all documentation meets quality and compliance standards
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the UK architecture sector
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Excellent portfolio
