Job Description
A respected multi-disciplinary design practice in Coventry is seeking a skilled Senior Architectural Technician to join its growing team. With a strong reputation for delivering thoughtful, sustainable design across the residential, commercial, education, and urban regeneration sectors, this studio offers a collaborative environment and a diverse project portfolio.
This opportunity is ideal for a technician with a solid background in residential architecture, particularly those with experience working alongside housebuilders or on volume housing schemes. The role will involve technical design, drawing production, and coordination across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal design teams
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements
Support project delivery from concept through to completion
Contribute to design reviews and technical development within the team
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in UK architectural practice
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Proven experience in the residential sector, ideally with housebuilder involvement
Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
