Job Description

We are a well-established architectural practice with a strong reputation for delivering thoughtful, high-quality residential projects, from bespoke new builds to sensitive renovations and extensions. Due to a growing portfolio of exciting work, we are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to join our friendly and collaborative team.
✨ What you'll be doing:

Leading the technical delivery of residential projects from planning through to completion
*
Producing detailed working drawings, specifications, and building regulations submissions
*
Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients
*
Supporting junior team members and collaborating with architects and designers
*
Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning policy
✅ What we're looking for:
*
Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally in residential architecture
*
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK construction methods
*
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (SketchUp and Photoshop a plus)
*
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
*
Good communication skills and confident client liaison
*
Knowledge of local planning authorities and building practices in the South West is desirable
