Senior Architectural Technician
Location: Southampton
Salary: £35-38,000
Our client, a progressive and design-focused architectural practice, is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technician with strong experience in delivering large-scale residential developments for leading UK house builders. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an ambitious studio dedicated to creating high-quality, design-led housing solutions.

Role Overview:
Produce precise, detailed technical drawings for major residential projects
Collaborate closely with architects, planners, engineers, and clients to achieve design and compliance objectives
Ensure technical output is fully aligned with UK Building Regulations and NHBC Standards
Provide mentorship and technical support to junior members of the team
Actively participate in project and client meetings, contributing technical expertise
About You:
Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology (or equivalent qualification)
Substantial experience working on large residential schemes for national house builders
Strong technical capability with excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in CAD/BIM software
Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations and industry standards
Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Clear communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
