Job Description
A leading multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join its expanding team in Nottingham. About the Role
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you'll lead the technical delivery of projects from concept through to completion. You'll be responsible for producing detailed construction documentation, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations. Experience in the Defence/MOD sector is highly desirable, and candidates must either hold security clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical design and project delivery across multiple sectors
Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and construction packages
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including engineers and surveyors
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and client requirements
Attend client meetings and contribute to design development
Mentor junior technologists and contribute to internal technical standards
Required Skills & Experience
Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification
Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in a UK architectural practice
Proven experience in delivering projects across RIBA stages
Ideally experienced in Defence/MOD sector projects
Strong technical knowledge and detailing ability
Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard software
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Eligibility for security clearance is essential
