Job Description

Senior Architectural Technologist 

A forward‑thinking and well‑established architectural practice in Brighton is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their growing team, with a strong focus on technically driven Later Living projects.

This practice has seen consistent growth over recent years, securing a healthy pipeline of repeat work across both public and private sectors. They are recognised for their technical strength, reliable project delivery and their ability to manage complex regulatory, stakeholder and compliance demands.

The Role

As Senior Architectural Technologist, you will play a central role in the technical development and delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include producing detailed Revit drawing packages, coordinating consultant information, and supporting schemes through the later RIBA stages and into construction. You’ll collaborate closely with Project Architects, consultants, contractors and clients to ensure projects progress smoothly, efficiently and in line with all compliance requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Degree, HNC or HND in Architectural Technology (or equivalent)
	
Minimum 5+ years’ UK industry experience
	
Strong proficiency in Revit (essential)
	
Experience within Later Living or large‑scale residential sectors
	
Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge
	
Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, standards and compliance
	
Proven experience producing technical design, tender and construction packages
	
Ability to coordinate consultant information and respond to site‑based queries
	
Confident working independently and within a wider technical team

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary in the region of £42,000–£48,000, depending on experience and technical capability. Higher salaries may be considered for those with strong DfE or complex project backgrounds.
