Job Description
Senior Architectural Technician (Contract - Revit Specialist)
Location: Hybrid from London (2-3 days/week)
Rate: £30-£33 per hour
Contract: 3-month rolling (strong potential to extend)
Interviews will be tomorrow and Friday.
We're supporting a busy and well-established architectural team with the urgent hire of a Senior Architectural Technician to assist on a major office block project. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong contractor to step into a vital role with high responsibility and visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaising directly with subcontractors and clients to ensure design practicality
Producing detailed technical drawings using Revit
Focusing heavily on glazing components, fittings, and timber frame structures
Supporting a team currently operating at full capacity
Requirements:
Proven experience using Revit for high-quality technical detailing
Strong understanding of structural elements, glazing, and timber construction
Experience engaging with subcontractors and clients
Familiarity with InDesign is a bonus
Additional Details:
Likely to require own PC and software
IR35 status to be confirmed
Initial 3-month contract, with high likelihood of extension due to project workload
