A leading Chartered Architectural Practice based in Leeds is looking for an experienced Job-Running Architectural Technologist to join their collaborative team. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you'll play a central role in the design and delivery of projects across all RIBA work stages, including:
Leading projects from concept through to completion, ensuring quality, technical accuracy, and timely delivery.
Acting as the main client contact, leading design and technical meetings.
Producing detailed planning, tender, and construction drawing packages.
Attending and overseeing site meetings, liaising with contractors and sub-contractors throughout the build process.
Ensuring all designs comply with UK Building Regulations, planning legislation, and sustainability standards.
Embracing and utilising the latest BIM and design software (Vectorworks experience desirable; training available).
Mentoring and supporting junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practice.About You - You'll be a confident and technically strong Senior Architectural Technologist who thrives in a job-running role. Ideally, you'll have:
5-10 years' UK-based experience in a senior technical or project delivery capacity.
Excellent technical knowledge and a solution-focused approach to problem solving.
A strong understanding of the UK planning system, Building Regulations, and modern construction methods.
Proficiency in BIM-compatible software (Vectorworks experience advantageous, training provided if needed).
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to lead project teams effectively.
A genuine passion for sustainable architecture and environmentally responsible design.What's on Offer
