Are you who we are looking for? - We are looking for a hands-on, sleeves rolled up Care Home Manager. We are looking for a leader who will be accountable and dedicated, whilst challenging the organisation to be better.
The Role Responsibilities:
The Registered Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* To provide positive leadership to the administration, care and nursing, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance staff.
* To carry out, and provide leadership in marketing the service, and selling its services at the agreed prices
* To maintain the operations of the service at the standards agreed with the Registered Provider by following policies and procedures, and the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider
* Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
* To safely recruit suitable staff
* To oversee the induction of new starters in accordance with company policy
* Lead, motivate and direct staff
* Conduct staff supervision and annual staff appraisals for all heads of department and other staff as necessary, including the end of probationary period interviews
* Develop staff to their full potential, ensuring succession planning for the service, using delegation skills
* Ensure that a multidisciplinary team working culture is embedded in the service adhering to equality and inclusion at all times
* Demonstrate a flexible management approach to appropriately manage different situations
