Job Description
Senior Authorised Person
Outside IR35
40-50 hours per week
Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
6 month initial contract
Key responsibilities:
Full SAP responsibility for HV offshore wind operations
HV switching, isolations, earthing and LOTO
Manage electrical safety documentation:
Permits to Work
Sanctions for Test
Switching schedules
Review RAMS and work packs
Coordinate with offshore technicians, control room, OEMs and DNO stakeholders
Support HV fault finding, restoration and maintenance activities
Support SCADA and remote switching operations
Ensure compliance with UK HV Safety Rules and site procedures
Essential requirements:
HV SAP authorisation (mandatory)
33kV SAP minimum (66kV desirable)
Strong HV switching experience under UK Electrical Safety Rules
Experience in offshore wind, power generation, utilities, oil & gas or similar HV environments
Experience with HV switchgear, transformers, protection systems and SCADA
Experience managing electrical safety documentation
Offshore medical
ECS/CSCS
HV SAP competency certification
First AidDesirable:
66kV / 132kV SAP authorisation
Offshore substation experience
Protection testing and commissioning experience
GWO / BOSIET / FOET
IOSH / SSSTS / SMSTSBefore You Apply
