Job Description
Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading principal contractor in the Energy from Waste sector who are looking to recruit a Senior Authorised Person on a 9-month minimum contract for its Essex site.
Key skills required for the SAP / LoTo Coordinator
Lead the Log-out / Tag-out office and coordinate all permits to safe working on the installation.
Prepare and manage safety documents (Safe systems of work) applicable to electrical activities on site. This shall include Switching schedules and Permit system.
Keep records of all permits, conduct site inspections, and take the lead regarding the safe isolation of equipment.
Prepare and conduct training of personnel onsite in view of Authorization to conduct specific activities under the Electrical and Mechanical safety rules.
Endorse the role of SAP (Senior Authorized Person) for LV systems.
Permanent coordination with Commissioning Engineers to ensure all works is conducted safely.
Ensure that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed with regards to HSE requirements and that work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS
Experience as LoTo Coordinator on Industrial Plants
Location, day rate and timeframe of the Senior Authorised Person / LoTo Coodinator
