We are currently seeking an experienced and fully authorised SAP (Senior Authorised Person) - 33kV to join a leading contractor on a high-profile project in Scotland.
Key Requirements:
*
SSEN and/or SPEN Authorisations (MANDATORY)
*
Proven experience working on 33kV systems
*
Strong understanding of electrical distribution networks and switching operations
*
Ability to work independently and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
*
Previous DNO or ICP experience highly desirable
Responsibilities:
*
Act as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) on 33kV networks
*
Prepare and issue safety documents (e.g., Permits to Work, Isolation/Restoration documents)
*
Oversee switching, isolation, and energisation of HV equipment
*
Ensure safe systems of work and liaise with client representatives (SSEN/SPEN)
*
Supervise and support field teams on site
Additional Information:
*
Contract duration: 3 months, with a strong chance of extension based on project scope
*
Must be flexible with travel across Scotland
*
Must hold valid authorisation tickets and up-to-date certification
