Job Description
Real Staffing are hiring a Contract Automation Engineer for a 6-12 month assignment for a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Dublin. The role focuses on supporting and optimising Manufacturing Control Systems, Operational Technology, and Machine Automation, while contributing to digitalisation and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain automation systems to ensure uptime and performance.
Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions with vendor support.
Support system patching, backups, and user access management.
Lead and contribute to site automation and digitalisation projects.
Create engineering deliverables including URS, FDS, SOPs, and test protocols.
Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity, and quality systems.Technical Expertise:
Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi (PLC, HMI, SCADA)
i-Fix, Wonderware, Inmation (SCADA, Data Management)
OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus
SQL databases, scripting languages
Network architecture: TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Active Directory
GAMP software lifecycle, ANSI/ISA standards (88, 95, 101, 105, 106)
21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11 complianceContract Details:
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: On-site (details available upon request)
Start Date: December 2025
