About the Role
An established Audio Visual integration specialist is looking for an experienced Lead Engineer to take ownership of AV installation, commissioning, and maintenance projects across the hospitality, leisure, gaming, and corporate sectors.
You'll lead from the front, ensuring systems are delivered to specification, mentoring engineers, and maintaining the high standards that clients expect from a premium AV brand.
This role suits someone who thrives on-site, takes pride in detail, and enjoys seeing complex systems come to life.
Key Responsibilities
Lead installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of audio-visual and lighting systems.
Oversee project delivery, ensuring all works meet technical and aesthetic standards.
Plan and coordinate materials, engineers, and subcontractors for efficient project execution.
Configure and commission DSPs, control systems, AV over IP, and DMX lighting solutions.
Work with technologies including Hisense LED, LG displays, WyreStorm distribution, and Harman audio.
Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues.
Mentor junior engineers and subcontractors.
Complete job documentation, commissioning records, and handover paperwork.
Maintain health & safety compliance and represent the company with professionalism.
Take part in on-call and weekend service rotas when required.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in Audio Visual installation, servicing, and commissioning.
Strong technical understanding of networked AV systems, digital signal processors (DSPs), and lighting control (DMX preferred).
Experience with Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Control4, or Lutron highly advantageous.
Confident in supervising others and taking full ownership of on-site delivery.
Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and client communication skills.
A proactive, organised, and hands-on approach.
Full UK driving licence required.
