One of Manchester’s premier PR & Social agencies, has a new opening for a Senior B2B Editorial Specialist.
The client portfolio will be centred around the built environment, tech, professional services and retail.
Working logistics – Manchester office/Hybrid. 3 days office, 2 days home.
They are looking for a talented Senior Editorial Specialist to join their B2B Client Services team.
You’ll play a key role in delivering standout editorial content and strategies for some of the UK’s leading B2B brands, from crafting compelling copy and shaping tone of voice to advising on media channels and driving campaign results.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Contribute to new business by developing content for proposals and delivering ‘presentation-ready’ pitch documents.
2. Adjust editorial tactics and formats to improve content effectiveness and campaign outcomes.
3. Collaborate with senior leaders to define and maintain consistent client tone of voice across all content.
4. Use deep market insight to enhance client campaigns and proactively suggest editorial strategies.
5. Create and present compelling editorial proposals that support client objectives and campaign KPIs.
6. Advise on the best media channels and formats for campaign success, drawing from a solid understanding of evolving media landscapes.
7. Evaluate editorial performance with client services, applying learnings to refine strategies and drive better results.
8. Lead by example, coaching team members and creating training plans to elevate editorial standards across the team.
9. Ensure all client-related administration is handled accurately, on time, and in alignment with agency processes.
10. Support agency growth and profitability through efficient time management, effective delegation, and proactive contribution to business development.
11. Leading by example, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to a positive, high-performance team culture.

* Exceptional writing skills in producing polished, engaging, and accurate content across a range of formats with minimal need for revisions.
* Ability to identify when and how to shift editorial formats or tactics to maximise impact.
* Experienced in establishing, maintaining, and championing consistent tone of voice across all client communications.
* Deep understanding of media outlets and content channels, with the ability to match content to audience and platform effectively.
* Actively tracking campaign progress and editorial performance, with a focus on meeting and exceeding KPIs.
* Awareness of budget considerations, time management and agency profitability.
