Senior Backend Engineer | Fully Remote | Full Time
Are you a seasoned backend engineer with a passion for building scalable APIs and robust backend systems? We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our development team and help shape the future of our platform.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality APIs and backend services
Architect scalable software solutions and contribute to system design
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across systems
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
What You'll Bring
6+ years of experience in backemnd or fullstack software development
Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Bash
Deep understanding of API technologies (REST, GraphQL, XML-RPC)
Experience connecting UI frameworks to backend systems
Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have
Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, jQuery)
Familiarity with Linux systems, virtualization, and networking
System programming experience in C
