The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Bid Manager to join a well-established and forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of UK infrastructure delivery. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the development and submission of high-quality, winning bids - working closely with senior leadership, technical specialists, and commercial teams to secure new projects that align with the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop business opportunities aligned with the company strategy. Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Lead the preparation of PQQs, tenders, and commercial submissions. Develop clear bid strategies and manage risk and governance processes. Write and review high-quality, compelling responses with input from technical teams. Oversee bid handovers to operational teams following contract award. Mentor and support bid managers and coordinators to drive best practice. About You Essential: Background in civil engineering, infrastructure, or commercial bid management. Proven experience leading successful multi-disciplinary bid teams. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of risk and governance. Excellent written communication skills for technical and persuasive content. Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.Desirable: Chartered or Incorporated status (or working toward it). Experience within civil, MEICA, or built environment sectors.
