Senior Building Surveyor required for a well-established property consultancy in Manchester, this firm has built a strong reputation for delivering commercial real estate solutions across offices, investments, and asset management. With their current growth plans, the role offers the chance to help build and manage a team. This role offers up to £65,000 + bonuses.
Our client is a leading commercial property consultancy based in Manchester, this firm specialises in office agency, investment, and asset management, offering strategic advice to landlords, occupiers, and developers. Combining market insight with a client-focused ethos, they provide tailored solutions that drive long-term value.
Role & Responsibilities
Handling commercial building surveying tasks, including Acquisition Surveys, Schedules of Condition, and Project Monitoring
Project Management & Contract Administration for high-profile workspace fit-outs and refurbishments, with contract values from £50K to £20M
Preparing and negotiating Schedules of Dilapidations for both landlords and tenants
Working with a diverse client base, from corporate occupiers and SMEs to private equity investors and landlords
Contributing to business success through business development, pitching, networking, and PR.Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
MRICS
Experience working for a commercial Building consultancy
Working knowledge of JCT contract administration
Expertise in Contract Administration and Cost Control
A confident Leader with experience mentoring junior colleagues
Someone with great client management.What you get back
Salary of up to £65,000
Annual discretionary bonus - paid every year so far.
Flexible working policy - 37.5-hour week with core hours (10am-3pm), one day WFH, and a 4pm finish on Fridays
