Job Description
Are you an experienced Senior Building Surveyor looking for a role where your expertise is valued and your contribution makes a real impact? We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded independent surveying practice who are seeking an accomplished professional to join their established team in Eastbourne.
The Role
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a leading role in delivering a broad range of surveying services. From managing complex building contracts to advising clients on high-level property matters, you'll be trusted to take responsibility from initial enquiry through to project completion. You will also contribute to mentoring colleagues and developing long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on residential and commercial surveys, defect analysis, and valuations
Manage building contract administration from inception to completion
Prepare detailed, high-quality reports and professional advice
Develop and maintain client relationships, representing the practice with integrity
Take ownership of instructions, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout
Support and guide junior colleagues where appropriate
About You
Degree qualified (or equivalent) with 5+ years' professional surveying experience
Proven track record in delivering building surveying services to a high standard
Strong leadership and client relationship-building skills
Excellent report writing and presentation abilities
Highly organised, adaptable and efficient in managing multiple projects
Professional, committed, and motivated by delivering the best client outcomes
Comfortable working independently as well as within a team environment
