 A growing electronics business in Colchester is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Senior Buyer - Electronics to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of procurement activity from end to end.

Key Responsibilities
Managing the procurement of electronic components and full BOMs.
Working closely with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
Ensuring materials availability to support production and project timelines.
Using MRP systems to plan, track, and optimise purchasing activity.
Identifying risks, resolving supply issues, and driving proactive solutions.
Building strong supplier relationships to support long‑term business needs.

About You
Proven experience as a Buyer within an electronics or electro‑mechanical environment.
Strong working knowledge of MRP systems.
Confident negotiating with suppliers and managing BOM procurement.
Naturally proactive, solution‑focused, and able to work independently.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
