Senior Buyer - Ambient
Yorkshire (Hybrid)
£75,000 plus car allowance and bonus
We're recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join a leading food retailer, managing a key Ambient category. This is a high-impact role for someone with a trader's mentality - commercially sharp, fast-moving, and confident making decisions that drive profit.
What You'll Do
Own and manage the ambient category end-to-end
Build strong supplier relationships and lead negotiations
React to trends and drive new product opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams including supply chain and merchandising
Deliver margin and commercial targets through smart, agile buying
What We're Looking For
Experience in buying within food retail (ambient preferred)
Strong commercial mindset with a deal-driven approach
Confident negotiator who thrives under pressure
Knowledge of the UK grocery or retail landscape
Based in Yorkshire or willing to travel regularly
