Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a vibrant manufacturing environment? Our client, a leading Manufacturing organisation based in Basildon, is seeking a passionate and driven Senior Buyer to join their newly formed Commercial team.
About the Role:
As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our purchasing team, managing the procurement of products and components while ensuring quality and delivery targets are met. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with account management and operations teams to support our production line and meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Solicit and negotiate supplier prices, lead times, and delivery quotations.
analyse complex data to make informed purchasing decisions.
utilise MRP systems to enhance buying and quoting activities.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers and key internal functions.
Drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes.What We're Looking For:
Minimum 4 years of buying experience in manufacturing, especially with electronic products.
Strong organisational, planning, and analytical skills.
Confident in using stock or MRP systems; familiarity with IFS or Factory Master is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and stakeholders.Why Join Us?
