Job Title: Senior CAD Technician
Location: Warrington
Salary: 35K-40K
XCL Group are recruiting for a senior CAD technician to join our client on a permanent basis. The role will involve preparing drawings and production packs, ensuring your designs are communicated and understood by the customers, the factory and installation teams.
The ideal candidate will be able to plan their own workload and have the ability to run multiple projects at any given time, whilst maintaining deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
* Attend site meetings and carry out surveys across the UK
* Design and prepare CAD drawings including plans, elevations and section drawings, survey measurements, sketches and specifications
* Liaise with other departments including the sales team, shop floor staff and dispatch team
* Prepare electronic CAD fabrication drawings, cutting lists, material schedules, packing lists and paint schedules
* Prepare design risk assessments and work package plans (RAMS)
* Conduct meetings with the installation teams to discuss your design to help the installation process
Job Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
* Competent in the use of AutoCAD (2D experience is more important than 3D)
* Excellent communicator with a good telephone manner
* Autodesk inventor experience would be advantageous
* Some knowledge of CDM and other mandatory regulationsBefore You Apply
