Salary: £12.76 per hour

Job Summary
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join the team at a warm and welcoming Residential home in Redditch. This full-time role is perfect for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality care and has the confidence to lead by example.
You’ll be working day shifts, providing hands-on care and supporting the daily running of the home while leading a team of care assistants. If you're passionate about caring for others and have experience administering medication and overseeing care plans, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering high standards of personal and emotional care to residents
Supporting residents with daily activities and promoting independence
Administering medication in line with policies and procedures
Leading and supporting care staff during shifts
Completing accurate care records and documentation
Communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
Supporting the Nurse or Home Manager with care planning and daily operations
Ensuring a safe, clean, and dignified environment for all residents
Requirements
Essential:
Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader in a residential or nursing home
Confident and experienced in medication handling and administration
Strong communication and leadership skills
A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable, responsible, and calm under pressure
Desirable:
NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
Knowledge of CQC standards and care planningBefore You Apply
