Job Description
We are looking for talented senior care assitants to expand our senior team. You will lead our established team of carers to provide individual care for our residents in our private residential home. We have a choice of days & nights available. If choosen to work day shifts you must be flexible to work a night shift when required. Your shifts will be over a 7 day period.
Our ideal candidate must: have a NVQ level 3 or be working towards it. Have 2 years experience in leading a team in a care home setting. Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Have a positive attitude. Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities. Have a good knowledge and confidence of medication administration. Have good organisational skills.
Duties will include: administration of medication, liasing with health professionals, leading a team, recording accurate information on electronic care and medication systems, reporting directly to the home manager.
