Senior Care Assistant – Elderly Care Home | Halstead, Essex
£14.00 – £15.00 per hour | Full-Time | Days & Nights Available
36 hours per week | 8am–8pm or 8pm–8am
We’re delighted to be partnering with a beautiful, well-established elderly care home in Halstead, Essex, to recruit a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join their team.
Set in peaceful surroundings and known for its warm, homely feel, this home offers the very best in residential, dementia, and nursing care—and is now looking for someone who shares their commitment to excellence and kindness.
About the Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents with daily living, overseeing the care team on shift, and helping maintain a high standard of person-centred care. Whether you're on days or nights, you'll be an essential part of ensuring residents feel safe, respected, and well looked after.
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in a senior carer or team leader role within a care home
* A genuine passion for elderly care, with strong communication and leadership skills
* Confident in administering medication and completing care plans
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) is desirable
In return, you’ll receive:
* £14.00 – £15.00 per hour, with paid breaks
* Full-time hours (36 per week), with both day and night shifts available
