Job Description
We are currently working with a beautiful Care Home based in Alvechurch that caters to those aged 65 and over and they are hiring for a Senior Carer on a 20hr per week Contract
As a senior Support Worker, you'll take on a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered every day. You'll support both residents and the team- leading by example, assisting with eletronic care-planning systems, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
Your responsibilites will include:
Providing hands-on support to residents, promoting independence and wellbeing
Leading and mentoring a team of support workers on shift
Supporting with care planning, record-keeping, and quality assurance
Liaising with families, professionals, and other stakeholders
About You
- Strong Leadership and communication skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience
- Is skilled with eletronic care-planning systems ( like Electrovis or similar)
- Flexible to work week days (£13,40 per hour) , weekends (£13.60 per hour), days shifts ( occasional night cover if someone is ill or on annual leave)
