This position is based in Oslo and will suit a seasoned professional with a strong background in category strategy, supplier management, and contract negotiations. Location and Working Pattern 
Oslo, Norway – Relocation required for this role. Hybrid working flexibility available.

Responsibilities
Shape and deliver the global wind turbine category strategy aligned with growth objectives and emerging market conditions.
Manage end-to-end supplier activities including qualification, evaluation, and long-term relationship development.
Ensure supplier compliance with technical, commercial, environmental, and governance requirements.
Oversee negotiation of key agreements such as Turbine Supply and Framework contracts, ensuring balance between risk, cost, and certainty.
Collaborate closely with internal legal and project teams to develop robust procurement frameworks.
Drive procurement input for project bids, budgets, and risk assessments during development phases.
Recruit, develop, and lead a team of procurement and logistics specialists committed to operational excellence.

Must-have Requirements
Significant experience in strategic category management and global procurement, preferably within renewable energy.
Deep knowledge of contract structures, commercial risk, and supplier sourcing strategies.
Leadership capability with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
Insight into global supply chains, market trends, and sustainability requirements.
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience working within complex international project delivery environments.
Understanding of financing obligations and warranty frameworks for energy projects.
