Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer
Cardiff or Bristol
£45,000 - £50,000
A medium-sized civil engineering firm is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to join their team, based in Cardiff or Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven engineer to work across a varied portfolio of projects, from initial design through to delivery, within a business that offers a close-knit team environment and hands-on involvement across the full project lifecycle.
The Role:
Producing and reviewing civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations, with a focus on drainage
Designing SuDS and foul/surface water drainage strategies in line with current standards
Working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
Providing technical input across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to construction
Liaising with local authorities and water authorities where requiredWhat's Required:
A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a similar civil engineering role, with strong drainage experience
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civils 3D
Chartered status (or working towards) would be an advantage for the Senior level
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWhat's on Offer:
