You'll be working across a wide range of sectors - from residential and education to commercial, regeneration, and major development projects. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll guide, develop, and inspire a team of talented engineers while expanding your own leadership, commercial, and client-facing skills. What you'll be doing ·Leading and mentoring project teams, supporting engineers at all stages of their careers. ·Taking ownership of multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met. ·Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and collaborators while effectively managing resources. ·Developing junior engineers, identifying training and equipment needs to help them excel. ·Overseeing project profitability, budgets, and timelines while proactively managing billing. ·Maintaining strong client relationships, securing repeat business, and contributing to bids. What you'll bring ·Degree qualification in Civil Engineering (Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE, IStructE, CIWEM, or CIHT is desirable). ·A proven track record of delivering civil engineering projects. ·Strong understanding of planning applications, procurement processes, and technical approvals. ·Proficiency with Microdrainage, Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD. ·Excellent written, verbal, and graphical communication skills, including report writing. ·Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. ·High proficiency in MS Office products. ·Commercial awareness with excellent teamwork and time management.
