Senior Civil Engineer needed in Essex!
Salary: Up to £55k + Excellent Benefits
A leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their established and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take the next step in their career and work on a varied and challenging portfolio of projects across the UK.
The role offers a blend of technical delivery, design leadership, and team collaboration, with genuine opportunities for career development and progression.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the design and development of civil engineering solutions across a range of sectors, including highways, drainage, earthworks, and site infrastructure.
Deliver high-quality technical input across all project stages - from feasibility to construction.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including local planning requirements, industry standards, and CDM 2015 regulations.
Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating with architects, surveyors, project managers, and sustainability specialists.
Identify and resolve technical challenges with innovative and practical solutions.
Maintain quality assurance across all design outputs, ensuring they meet internal and external expectations.
About You:
Proficient in Civil 3D with strong 3D modelling experience.
Degree qualified or equivalent (including apprenticeships) in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Actively working towards or keen to progress to ICE chartership.
Strong understanding of UK design standards, regulatory requirements, and construction practices.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
