Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Client Manager to join a collaborative and friendly team in Waterlooville. You’ll manage a portfolio of small business clients, delivering exceptional service and overseeing a capable accounting team, offering both leadership and technical guidance.
THE ROLE:
* Manage the preparation, submission, and filing of accounts and tax returns for a portfolio of clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies, either directly or by overseeing the process.
* Guide and support a small team of accountants, helping them manage client portfolios effectively to meet service level agreements and ensure all statutory deadlines are achieved.
* Support the growth and development of your accounting team through training, mentorship, and technical guidance, offering expertise to the wider business when appropriate.
CANDIDATE:
* Must be supported by a full membership to a chartered professional body, (ACCA or equivalent).
* Extensive experience spanning 5+ years in practice, overseeing a broad client base and delivering work directly in a dynamic environment.
* Must be able to prepare, review and check accounts & tax returns for clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
* Experience of working with clients in advisory capacity as well as experience utilising Xero, QuickBooks, DEXT and Free Agent to produce client work.
