The Senior CNC Machinist Role:
Opportunity for a talented and motivated CNC Setter / Programmer to be part of the Machine Shop Team.
Senior CNC Machinist Duties & Responsibilities:
* Set up and program sliding head CNC machines (e.g., Citizen, Star)
* Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
* Perform in-process and final quality assurance checks on machined parts
* Maintain compliance with GMP and safety standards in the workshop
* Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to resolve machining issues
Senior CNC Machinist Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
* Proficient setting and programming Citizen Machines or similar sliding heads
* Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
* Knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes
* Experience in quality control/inspection techniques
* Understanding of GMP in a manufacturing or machining environment
