The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead the delivery of complex fire and security projects. You’ll be the technical authority on-site, commission and test systems to the highest standards, mentor junior engineers, and represent SecureWais confidently with clients and consultants.
What You’ll Do
* Commission and test fire/security systems across high-end projects.
* Ensure compliance with British Standards and UK safety regulations.
* Review and validate designs, drawings, and documentation.
* Lead inspections, testing, and handovers.
* Mentor and support junior engineers.
* Deliver client training on completed systems.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Valid CSCS or ECS card (or ability to obtain prior to start).
* Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. FIA modules, Level 3 electrical/electronic qualification).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Eligibility to obtain BPSS and SC clearance.
Desirable
* Manufacturer training certifications on key fire/security systems.
* Health & Safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH).
