Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Configuration Management Lead to deliver modern, automated Configuration Management (CM) systems for complex defence projects.
You will provide technical leadership, supporting and developing a high-performing CM team, while championing continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining scalable CM processes
* Overseeing robust change control and version management (using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira)
* Ensuring full lifecycle integrity of Configurable Items (CIs)
* Collaborating across engineering, programmes, quality, and operations
* Ensuring transparent, real-time configuration data and compliance with Def Stan 05-57, ISO10007, and EN9100 standards
Qualifications
* Relevant degree (CMII or CM2-P preferred)
Required Skills
* Proven experience in configuration management
* Lifecycle management
* Automation and collaboration
* Expertise in change management and version control
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Strategic mindset
* Eligibility for SC Clearance
* Experience in defence projects
