About the Role
The Senior Configuration Specialist will be working in partnership with the Project teams to ensure that configuration is executed within the required timeframes.
What You’ll Do:
* Project Meetings: Attend project implementation meetings to outline Technical Services’ involvement, ensuring planning alignment and meeting of deadlines from the outset.
* Process Documentation & Compliance: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of all Technical Services processes to support consistency and transparency.
* Performance & Continuous Improvement: Regularly review key areas such as hot-stage trackers, logistics expenditure, staffing levels, and error rates to identify improvements, quality assure and maximise cost efficiency.
* Team Development & Communication: Support and train Technicians especially to adopt consistent practices, while establishing a clear communication strategy to promote cross-departmental collaboration.
What You’ll Bring:
* Industry Experience: Proven background within technical environments, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving settings.
* Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT solutions, including EPoS and wireless technologies, along with knowledge of health and safety and electrical regulations.
* Adaptability & Innovation: Comfortable working in dynamic environments, with a proactive approach to identifying and developing new ideas and opportunities.
* Organisation & Communication: Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to accurately record and share information.
* Initiative & Flexibility: Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a flexible approach to working hours - including availability for weekend work when required.
