Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a major large-scale fit-out project in Central London. This is a high-profile scheme requiring a strong, proactive leader with a solid track record in managing complex fit-outs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating trades, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring the program is delivered on time and to the highest quality. They will be split between site and office based, being the technical point of contact between the site team and the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered to programme and within budget
*
Drive quality, health & safety, and compliance across all activities
*
Liaise with project stakeholders, subcontractors, consultants, and the client team
*
Produce and manage detailed short-term look-ahead programmes and weekly site planning
*
Coordinate with the design team and manage design development on-site
*
Troubleshoot technical issues and drive resolutions efficiently
*
Report progress, issues, and risk mitigation plans to the Project Manager
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager on high-value commercial fit-out projects
*
Strong technical understanding of fit-out processes, construction methodology, and sequencing
*
Proficient in programme management tools (e.g., Asta Powerproject, MS Project)
*
Able to produce detailed look-ahead programmes and manage design coordination on-site
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
*
SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid certifications (as applicable)
