Job Description
Scottish Power Renewables are looking for a Senior Contract Manager to join their East ANglia 3 project. This project is in the comissioning phase.
Position Title: Senior Contract Manager (Export Cable)
Duration: 12 Month initial contract
Working Location(s): London or Glasgow/hybrid style working
Rate: Inside IR35, Umbrella and PAYE options available
Main Purpose of Job
Responsible for Contract Management of the EA3 Export Cable contract, in support of the EC Package Manager
Key Tasks
Help defining and elaborating the commercial strategy as part of the package management team.
Reviewing and drafting contractual correspondence including instructions, determinations, etc.
Maintaining registers of communications in document control system.
Reviewing and progressing claims and variations including liaison with legal, planning, insurance and other stakeholders.
Reviewing and progressing payments to contractor.
Participation in regular commercial progress meetings.
General contract administration
Key Criteria
Essential
Experience of Contract Management roles on offshore wind or oil & gas major projects, particularly within either Export Cables or IAC packages
Experience of dealing with claims in FIDIC contracts
Available to travel nationally and internationally.
Desirable
Experience of Contract Management/administration roles on electrical substation projects
Site Working Expected:
