Senior Controls/Automation Engineer
Lynx are recruiting for a Senior Controls/Automation Engineer for a company near Glasgow who build robotic systems for modern agriculture.
The role offers up to £65k, potentially more for perfect candidates, and is hybrid, there will be some travel to various UK farms to commission the robots.
Responsibilities:
* Lead design and development of PLC-based control systems and robotics
* Work directly with advanced dairy farming technology revolutionising the industry
* Field commissioning and testing on working farms across the UK
* Collaborate on projects from concept through to installation
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in automation/controls engineering
* Strong PLC programming skills (structured text, ladder logic)
* Experience with field commissioning and troubleshooting
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites
