Job Description
Senior Controls Engineer – Warehouse Automation
Huntington| Permanent | £55,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance
We’re looking for a Controls Engineer with experience in warehouse automation or material handling systems. You’ll design, program, and commission PLC/HMI/SCADA systems (Siemens TIA Portal preferred) for cutting-edge intralogistics projects across the UK and internationally.
What you’ll do:

PLC programming, testing, and commissioning
*
Support panel build and electrical design
*
On-site installation, FAT/SAT, and troubleshooting
*
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
What we’re looking for:
*
Proven PLC/controls experience (Siemens/Allen Bradley/Beckhoff)
*
Knowledge of industrial networks (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
*
Willingness to travel for commissioning
*
Strong problem-solving skills
