Senior Design Engineer
Salisbury

£40,000 - £50,000 per year
Mon-Thurs 8:00–17:00 Fri 08:00–14:00

We’re looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their growing team and play a key role in delivering world-class engineering solutions.

The role of the Senior Design Engineer:
* Jig/tooling design and specification
* Gauge and validation system specification
* Ensuring all designs are feasible and manufacturable
* Promoting best-practice manufacturing methods internally and with suppliers
* Supporting DFM, prototype builds, volume ramp-up, and plant production processes
* Conducting engineering reviews to ensure milestones and project timelines are met
* Liaising with suppliers for parts, tools, and costing
* Providing accurate cost estimations
The person for the Senior Design Engineer:
* HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
* Previous experience in the Manufacturing industry
* Proficient in CATIA V5 (preferred) or SolidWorks
* Understanding of jig and fixture strategies
* Strong communication, motivation, and leadership skills
* Willingness to travel occasionallyBefore You Apply
