Job Description
Our client creates unique sculptural lighting, furniture, and artworks for world-renowned interior designers, collectors, and private clients. They now seek a Senior Design Estimator to join their team, ensuring exceptional quality, profitability, and strong supplier relationships.
Reporting to the Design & Estimating Manager, the Senior Design Estimator will be:
* Researching and selecting best practice processes, materials, and suppliers
* Preparing accurate quotations and RRPs for the Sales team
* Collaborating with procurement, design, and production to deliver projects smoothly
* Overseeing BOM accuracy, margins, and cost reviews
* Supporting new product implementation and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
* Strong experience in estimating, costing, and design within manufacturing (ideally interiors / luxury sector)
* In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and costs
* Skilled in ERP / estimating software and Microsoft Office
* Analytical, detail-focused, and commercially aware
* Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Ability to read CAD / technical drawings (advantage)
