Senior Design Manager role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our site in the Oxford region. We are currently working with a leading contractor who are looking to strengthen their construction team.
Senior Design Manager Responsibilities:
Lead the design process ensuring the design aligns with project goals and budget
Manage the design consultants as well as working closely with the project teams to oversee the development
Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and be able to translate them into clear design briefs
Work with architects to ensure the designs are practical and compliant
Ensure the project meets the deadlines set
Deliver high quality work
Manage the creation and review of design drawings
Work with project managers and contractors to ensure a seamless integration between design and construction
Identify any risks that could cause the project to be delayed
Monitor the progress of the project - ensuring all budgets and schedules are adhered to
Address any design changes that will benefit the client
Track the design process ensuring it aligns with the project deadlines Senior Design Manager Benefits:
