BASED NEAR ANCASTER, LINCOLNSHIRE
FULL TIME, PERMANENT POSITION

A well-establised company, our client is a leading supplier of an extensive range of products to the foodservice and food manufacturing industries. An award winning business, now is an excellent time to join the team!
They currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the fast-paced Innovation Team. The purpose of the role is to develop new and innovative products and provide support at all stages of the development process from concept through to product trials.
ROLE
Main Responsibilities
* Work alongside relevant functions to support the development of new products
* Visit and liaise directly with customers to identify and present new concepts
* Prepare technical documentation and evaluate HACCP requirements for new products
* Ability to match customer recipes and develop new recipes to customer requirements
* Maintain a comprehensive database of recipe information and costings
* Identify emerging food and market trends
CANDIDATE
Attributes
* A positive and customer focused approach in line with company values
* Not a people management focused role, need to be a foodie and hands on developer
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Experienced in NPD role working with functional ingredients
* Detail orientated with a high level of accuracy
* Problem solving and critical thinking skills
* Good standard of computer literacy
* Full UK driving licence

Hours of Work: 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday
8.00am to 3.00pm Friday
Salary range: £40K- Circa £45K
Hands on, 60% development, 30% paperwork, 10% customer facing.
