We’re Hiring: Senior Digital Systems Analyst
Location: Edinburgh Central
Duration: 12 weeks with possible extension
Rate of Pay: £20.83 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday – 36 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate
🌟 About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Digital Systems Analyst to play a key role in shaping and improving the digital systems that support essential public sector services.
You’ll work at the heart of operational and digital transformation, leading the design, development, and delivery of critical systems. From analysing business needs to implementing real-world solutions, you’ll drive change that makes a real difference for communities.
A major focus will be supporting and developing the Confirm Asset and Works Order Management system, as well as overseeing projects such as fleet system replacement and other current and pipeline initiatives. Acting as the vital link between service teams and technical specialists, you’ll ensure systems are configured, embedded, and optimised for success.
🧩 What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and customer requirements.
- Analyse and redesign processes to unlock opportunities for digital improvement.
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of systems.
- Provide technical leadership across operational service projects.
- Support key systems including Confirm and other service platforms.
- Develop and maintain clear standards, procedures, and documentation.

We’re seeking someone with:
- Strong experience in systems and business analysis, turning requirements into practical solutions.
- A proven track record of leading technical projects from planning to delivery.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
- Experience producing and maintaining standards, documentation, and procedures.
- Knowledge of asset management and works order systems (such as Confirm) – highly desirable.
