Job Description
My client, a large, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Senior Drainage Engineer to join their growing team of experts in the beautiful city of Nottingham, in the Midlands region of England.
Essential Criteria:
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, or a similar, relevant discipline
Demonstrable experience in drainage design, particularly within the infrastructure or development sectors
Excellent knowledge of UK engineering standards relating to drainage and highways, including the relevant Section Agreements
Experience of working with Section Agreements S104 and S106, as well as the interpretation and discharge of planning conditions
Good working knowledge of the relevant software packages, including MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, AutoCAD, and similar
Experience of stakeholder engagement and management, with a range of clients
Ability to manage projects at all stages, from conception through to successful delivery

In your exciting role of Senior Drainage Engineer, you will join a specialist team of experts in their respective engineering and design fields, with a view to developing and progressing within your career. The role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including:
Oversee the design and management of drainage systems for a range of new build and redevelopment projects
Produce conceptual drainage and infrastructure designs, from initial conception through the construction process
Work with other colleagues and stakeholders to produce integrated design solutions
Liaise with clients and other stakeholders, providing them with technical guidance and support
Lead the preparation of drawings, design reports, and technical memorandums
Assist with the preparation of planning applications, coordinating with local authorities and other clients in their submission
Mentor junior engineers and other colleagues
Provide business development support, contributing to the preparation of business proposals, etc.
